A team that keeps going
Eclipse Ultimate has been playing on the fields of North Georgia for over a decade. We started in 2014 as FCHS Ultimate, became Eclipse in 2019, and haven't stopped since — season after season of players learning the game and loving it. See the full history →
We're built for middle and high school players across North Georgia whose schools don't have an ultimate team — and for homeschoolers looking for a squad. Every skill level is welcome, from players who've never thrown a disc to those who've competed for years.
Michael Wood
Michael has played and coached ultimate for 20+ years and has helped coach Eclipse since 2024. He's a certified USA Ultimate Youth Coach, and his coaching philosophy centers on mutual respect, putting players in a position to succeed, and making sure players have fun while they learn.
Practices are tightly structured — every session includes a warmup, fitness and athleticism work, fundamental skill work, mini-games, and strategy.

Eclipse wouldn't be here without Madison "Madi" Head. Madi captained or coached the team from its very beginning in 2014 and was the through-line across every era — FCHS Ultimate, Intensity, and Eclipse. Now retired from coaching, he leaves behind more than a decade of players who learned the game because of him. Thank you for everything, Madi.
